Return, Exchange, Warranty, and Installation Policy for Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Return and Exchange Policy
1. If the customer does not want the product: They may return unused goods (provided they are in their original undamaged manufacturer packaging, including labels, external carton ties, all accessories, and instruction booklets) within three (3) days from the invoice date for exchange or return.
2. If the customer wishes to have the returned goods collected from their location: A shipping fee of 100 SAR within Riyadh will be charged, and the shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount (shipping fees are not charged for exchanges). We do not accept returns of products with scratches or damages to the product or its packaging.
3. In case of hidden damage not noticed at the time of receipt: The customer must return the product within 24 hours of receipt in its original undamaged manufacturer packaging, including labels and all accessories and instruction booklets, for inspection and necessary action. Otherwise, Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration will not be responsible for any compensation or replacement. This does not apply to concealed air conditioners or various types of split air conditioners (wall-mounted, ceiling, cassette, floor-standing) and window air conditioners installed by parties other than Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
4. If the defect is visible: Using the device is considered acceptance of the device with the visible defect.
5. If the goods are not collected within 30 days from the purchase date: The company has the right to process a return of the invoice.
Warranty, Maintenance, and Repair
1. The original invoice is required for the warranty to be valid.
2. Before installation and operation: The instruction booklet accompanying the product must be read to avoid mistakes that could lead to product damage due to misuse. Such damages will not be accepted under the terms and conditions of the agent’s warranty.
3. The products sold by us: are covered by the agent’s warranty for two years, starting from the purchase date.
4. All devices we sell are designed to operate on a voltage range of 220-240-380 volts unless otherwise specified. If you do not have the appropriate setup to operate the product using this voltage/power source, we advise against using the product.
5. Products damaged due to incorrect power sources: will not be accepted under the terms and conditions of the agent’s warranty.
6. If there is any issue with the product: We advise contacting the authorized agent’s service center directly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to request repair of the product.
7. Customers can contact the company’s customer service: to learn about authorized service centers for agents and how to contact them.
Terms and Conditions for Air Conditioner Installation and Returns
1. Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange of the air conditioner after installation.
2. If the return of concealed air conditioners or various types of split air conditioners (wall-mounted, ceiling, cassette, floor-standing) and window air conditioners is accepted: only the value of the air conditioner will be refunded, while the installation service fee will not be refunded.
3. Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration guarantees the installation for 3 months: provided that the installation was done by the company and that the copper piping extension was also done by the company.
4. Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is not responsible for matching the air conditioner’s capacity to the size of the area to be cooled.
5. A maximum of 4 meters of copper piping will be provided with each split air conditioner: only if mentioned in the invoice. This will not be provided if the installation is not done or if pre-installed piping exists.
6. The cost of additional meters of Korean copper is 92 SAR (including tax), and American copper is 115 SAR (including tax).
7. After installation, the device will be under the agent’s warranty: who will be responsible for all maintenance and repairs during the warranty period.
8. The customer is responsible for preparing the installation site (civil works, decoration, plumbing, air conditioning water drainage…): and providing the appropriate electricity supply. The height of the indoor unit should not exceed 3.5 meters and the outdoor unit should not exceed 2.5 meters.
9. The installation team is not responsible for extending electrical wiring and civil works.
10. The customer must pay for additional meters of Korean copper at 92 SAR including tax and American copper at 115 SAR including tax or any additional costs before the installation process.
11. Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is not responsible for the quality of pre-installed copper piping at the installation site.
12. If a wall mount bracket is required, the customer will bear the cost of 92 SAR (including tax).
13. Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is not responsible for dismantling the old air conditioner if present. If the customer requests dismantling, an additional fee of 230 SAR including VAT will be charged. The cost of installing an old air conditioner on site is 460 SAR including VAT, and welding the copper piping when copper is provided by the customer is 92 SAR including VAT for the indoor unit and 92 SAR including VAT for the outdoor unit.
14. If drilling holes in concrete walls is required, an additional fee of 230 SAR (including tax) per hole will be charged.
15. Any service not specified in a separate item on the invoice is not obligated to be performed by Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
General Terms
1. Refunds for cash, bank transfer, or Mada payments will be processed via bank transfer within five business days (we require a signed copy of the customer’s bank card with IBAN). Refunds for credit card payments will be made to the same credit card.
2. The customer’s purchase of products (as-is without packaging) and receipt of the invoice constitutes implicit acceptance of the device’s condition. The customer cannot claim any missing accessories or parts afterward.
3. Products purchased through the installment program cannot be returned but can only be exchanged for the same value or higher, according to the above-mentioned terms and conditions.
4. For bundled offers, the customer must return all products included in the bundle. Partial returns are not allowed, and all products must be in their original condition.
5. If the free gifts included are used, the product cannot be returned or exchanged.
6. Prices and offers are subject to change.
7. Additional charges are calculated for delivery outside the city where Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is located, based on weight, volume, and region.
8. The warranty is provided by the agent, not by Asawer Al Sharq for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
